The history of Muirhead began at the beginning of the 19th century, in 1824. In 1920 the distillery belongs to the MacDonald & Muir Distillers group. If you do not know what this means, we add that today the company is called Glenmorangie Company. Since 2008, Muirhead has been under the management of Tullibardine Highland Single Malt Distillery.
This Silver Seal bottle dates from 1987, the time when Glenmorangie was in charge of the distillery
