The tray is foldable or removable, and the convertible mechanism is operated by simple, traditional mechanical joints and locks. Formal Victorian/fin-de-siècle style: turned uprights and crossbars, understated decoration on the backrest and seat, and small wheels for easy movement. The convertible design (high chair and pram positions) is typical of 1870–1900.
