This is the 2015 and first release in the highly acclaimed Arran Smugglers' Series. The collection was a nod to the shady history of Arran's illicit distilling back during the 18th and 19th centuries when the island was a producer of black market whisky.

The whisky itself represents the type of dram the illicit producers would create. It is a mixture of port pipes and sherry hogsheads containing non-peated spirit and oak barrels containing peated spirit.
O uísque em si representa o tipo de dram que os produtores ilícitos criavam. É uma mistura de tonéis de Porto e hogsheads de sherry contendo spirit não defumado e barris de carvalho contendo spirit defumado.
