This is a lovely antique ring in very good condition. The ring is made at the end of the 19th century and is set with a natural sapphire in oval cut. The sapphire is claw set and surrounded by 19 seed pearls. The square ring head set with the stones measures 0.9 x 0.8 cm. The ring has an open back and is laser tested as 14 ct gold. The shoulders of the ring have engraving on v shaped leaves. There is no hallmark. The size is an European 57 but can be resized by your local jeweller.
