A rare and highly collectible official Springbank duty paid sample, bottled exclusively for trade purposes by J. & A. Mitchell & Co., Campbeltown.

Distilled at Springbank and matured in a refill Burgundy cask, this whisky was originally sampled on 24 May 2016 at 7 years of age and bottled at a robust cask strength of 58.9% ABV. The bottle was subsequently presented as an official Campbeltown Malts sample, carrying the Springbank-approved neck tag signed by Gavin McLachlan and dated 28 November 2023.

Official Springbank trade samples are seldom seen on the secondary market and offer collectors a fascinating insight into the distillery's cask selection process. Refill Burgundy maturation is particularly unusual for Springbank, making this an attractive bottle for both collectors and enthusiasts of Campbeltown whisky.
