Provenance: Acquired as part of a lot at an auction in Malta, originating from a private ecclesiastical collection. According to the tradition of the collection, the walking stick is associated with the Italian tenor Beniamino Gigli (1890–1957). The item has been submitted to the Beniamino Gigli Museum in Recanati (Italy), which considered it relevant to the artist, although no formal certification is provided. SHIPPING (IMPORTANT) The walking stick will not be shipped with its case, as it is very fragile and likely to be damaged during transport.
