Elegant solid silver dish by the renowned German silversmith Bruckmann & Söhne, Heilbronn, one of the most respected German luxury silver manufacturers of the late 19th and early 20th century. Beautifully shaped tray with richly decorated floral and scroll border in refined historicist / late Jugendstil taste. The center bears an engraved monogram “K”, adding to the aristocratic character of the object. Fully hallmarked with: crescent moon and crown (German national silver marks), “800” silver fineness mark, maker’s mark of Bruckmann & Söhne. Produced circa 1910. Very elegant table or vanity object, suitable for serving sweets, bonbons, jewellery or small personal items. Good antique condition with light signs of age and use, including minor surface scratches and small traces of wear consistent with careful use over more than a century.
