Carley & Clemence Ltd Military Pocket Watch - Cortébert Cal. 526 - c. 1940Descrição:Up for auction is a vintage military pocket watch issued by the British firm Carley & Clemence Ltd during World War II (c. 1940), featuring a high-quality Swiss-made movement.A highly desirable detail for collectors: the unique military serial number A.2670 is matching, engraved both on the dial and on the outer edge of the case, confirming the complete originality of the timepiece.Movement: Manual-wind, legendary Cortébert Cal. 526 caliber (15 jewels), renowned for its robustness (the same movement family used as a technical base by Rolex during that era).Dial: Original military black dial with large Arabic numerals and a sub-seconds dial at 6 o'clock.
