--- Introduction ---
The Rado Balboa V is one of the most distinctive expressions of Swiss watchmaking from the 1970s, a decade in which Rado pursued hard, scratch-resistant materials with singular determination. Its softly squared barrel case, with broad polished flanks and sharply cut chamfers, frames a deep grey bezel ring that gives the watch its unmistakable architectural presence. Inside, a silver sunburst dial carries applied baton indexes, the rotating red-and-white Rado anchor at twelve, and a bright red date display at three. Completed by an integrated Milanese mesh bracelet, this is a confident, sculptural design that still reads as thoroughly modern today.

--- Condition Report ---
Overall: A pre-owned vintage timepiece in good overall condition, showing honest signs of wear consistent with its age and everyday use. It has not been polished or restored, and is offered exactly as it stands.
Case & Bezel: The polished steel case carries numerous fine scratches, scuffs and light nicks across the flanks, chamfers and lugs, most visible on the upper surfaces. The dark grey bezel ring remains intact and even in tone, with only minor superficial marks. The signed crown is present and correct.
Dial & Crystal: The silver sunburst dial is clean and legible, with the applied indexes, printed minute track and RADO / BALBOA V signatures all crisp; only very slight age-related marks are present. The crystal is clear and free of significant damage, with excellent transparency across the dial.
Bracelet & Clasp: The Milanese mesh bracelet is complete and supple, with light surface wear and minor darkening in the weave. The folding clasp closes and holds securely.
Functions: Sold as a pre-owned timepiece that has not been recently serviced. As with any vintage mechanical watch of this age, a full service by a qualified watchmaker is recommended before regular wear, and no guarantee is given as to timekeeping accuracy or water resistance.
