The Rolex Explorer 14270 is considered one of the most desirable neo-vintage Rolex references. Introduced in 1989 as the successor to the legendary Explorer 1016, it remained in production until 2001, when it was replaced by the Explorer 114270. It combines the classic 36 mm Explorer proportions with modern features such as a sapphire crystal and the Rolex Calibre 3000 automatic movement.
