【Description】

The Seiko Cronos is a series of hand-wound three-hand dress watches produced by Seiko. The dial is composed only of the script "Seiko Cronos" logo, the "Diashock 21 jewels" inscription, the hands, and the hour markers, and this composition clearly expresses the watch's refined character.

The sunray silver dial, which reflects light radially from the center, is paired with gold-tone bar hour markers and dauphine hands. The hour markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock are wider, making the time easy to read at a glance. A domed plastic crystal covers the dial, giving it a three-dimensional look when viewed from an angle.

The movement is a hand-wound 21-jewel caliber marked SEIKOSHA. It is equipped with Diashock, Seiko's proprietary shock-protection system, as noted on the dial. This is a hand-wound watch without a rotor, wound by turning the crown.

The case is 14K GOLD FILLED. The caseback is engraved with the script "Seiko Cronos" logo, the material marking, and the reference number. The simple case combines a modest 35mm width with slender, elongated lugs, and it pairs naturally with a suit or jacket. The strap is brown leather, paired with a gold-tone buckle.

Inside the caseback remain handwritten notes left by watchmakers during past repairs. This piece directly conveys its history of being repaired and passed on through years of use.

【Condition】

The crystal has minor scratches from use. The dial has several small spot-like marks. The hands and hour markers have fine wear. The case has minor scratches and wear from use. There is verdigris (green corrosion) on the rim of the caseback and on the inside of the case. The inside of the caseback bears handwritten notes from past repairs. The strap and buckle have been replaced with new ones.
Operation has been confirmed.
No accessories are included. Only the watch itself will be shipped.
