Arne Jacobsen’s Cylinda-line series for Stelton, launched in 1967, became an immediate success, winning both Danish and international design awards in the late 1960s. His innovative use of lightly brushed, stainless steel was a sensation and has remained popular ever since. Cylinda-line items are featured in many international design museums, for example being included in the permanent collections at both MoMA in New York and the V&A in London.
