A limited-edition photographic book of Polaroids by Renee Jacobs, published in 2021 by Galerie Vevais.
Signed and numbered and with an extra signed postcard print,

The volume brings together a selection of images shot with Polaroid Type 55 film, a medium that has since disappeared but is central to the artist's poetics. Hand-bound with a visible spine, it stands out for its craftsmanship: each copy features an original C-print applied to the cover and is signed and numbered.
Limited to 100 copies.

Renée Jacobs continues her intimate and profoundly feminist investigation of the body, sensuality, and identity. The photographs portray women captured in moments of authentic and vulnerable presence, far from constructed poses or stereotypes, in a delicate balance between strength, desire, and intimacy. Polaroids is often considered one of the artist's most overtly erotic works, while maintaining great formal and emotional refinement.

Her intimate black-and-white artistic nude photography draws the viewer into the sensual world of the feminine. Renee's photographs are bold and seductive in the way that only a female photographer can be with this subject matter.
