This elegant vase is crafted from high-quality blue Bohemian crystal and features the distinctive “Marika” twisted design, known for its flowing spiral form and beautiful optical effect.
The gently rotating structure catches the light from every angle, creating a dynamic play of reflections and depth. The blue coloration gradually intensifies toward the base, giving the piece a refined and luxurious appearance.
The vase was hand-formed from molten glass by skilled glassmakers, using traditional techniques of Czech hot-worked glass. Each curve and contour is shaped individually, making every piece slightly unique and giving the object a strong sculptural character.
This piece originates from the traditional production of the renowned Czech glassworks Egermann, based in Nový Bor, the historic center of Bohemian glassmaking.
The Egermann name is closely linked to Fridrich Egermann (1777–1864), one of the most influential figures in Czech glass history and the inventor of the famous Egermann overlay (Lasur) technique, which helped make Bohemian glass famous worldwide.
For generations, Egermann glassworks represented precision craftsmanship, artistic quality, and prestigious design, exporting Bohemian glass to collectors and luxury interiors around the world.
