We are pleased to present the IWC Pilot's Watch Automatic 36 Ref. IW3240. This series is a direct descendant of the legendary "Mark 11," originally created for the British Royal Air Force in 1948, and is known for its robust, functional design. This specific model, released in 2016, embodies the modern trend of "downsizing" with its versatile 36mm case.

The standout feature is the slate color dial. Finished with a radial sunray pattern, the dial shifts its expression depending on the angle—transforming from a deep black to a dark gray with a metallic luster. This adds a layer of dress-watch elegance to what is typically a rugged military aesthetic.

With a slim profile of only 10mm in thickness, the case fits perfectly under a shirt cuff. Inside, it features a soft-iron inner case for enhanced magnetic resistance, providing peace of mind in today’s digital environment filled with PCs and smartphones.

[Condition, Flaws & Accessories]

Dial: In excellent condition with no significant damage visible to the naked eye.

Case & Back: Shows some light surface scratches and minor scuffs. There are small nicks visible (notably on the 9 o'clock side and the 2 o'clock case line), and faint marks from opening on the case back.

Crystal: Clear and free of any noticeable scratches or scuffs.

Strap & Buckle: Not included. Due to CITES export regulations regarding exotic leathers, the strap and buckle set have been removed. The watch will be delivered as the "head" (case) only.

Operation: Features a screw-down crown.

Pull the crown to the first position and rotate to change the date.

Pull to the second position to adjust the time.

Includes a "hacking" (stop-seconds) function.

Accessories: Watch head only.

Accuracy: Measured at within 30 seconds per day (actual timing may vary slightly depending on the watch's position during use).
