Beskrivning från säljaren
Ange : 100% Chardonnay, clay-limestone terroir, vinified and aged in used oak barrels, no filtration or fining, 84 months on the lees, 3.0 g/l dosage, 1,524 bottles produced.
Tasting notes: On the nose, hints of candied citrus, brioche bread, light notes of acacia honey and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, it is ample and structured, yet supported by good acidity and flavor. A champagne with a gastronomic vocation, a beautiful expression of the Chardonnay of the Marne Valley.
Eugene 2017: 100% Meunier, Rosé de Saignée, clay-limestone terroir, vinified and aged in used oak barrels, 72 months on the lees, 12 g/l dosage, hand-painted bottle, 880 bottles produced.
Tasting Notes: On the nose, aromas of candied orange, wild strawberries, blackcurrant, rhubarb, and jam are evident. On the palate, the fruit is distinctly perceived, supported by a pleasant minerality and freshness, and the finish is very long. A very distinctive rosé, decidedly gastronomic, perfect paired with foie gras, aged cheeses, or chocolate desserts.
