Testamatta white lthough the 2022 vintage was a very hot one, the centuries-old Gigliese-style Alberello vines and the vineyards' location on the island favored optimal bud development, resulting in a lower yield but extremely high-quality grapes. A mild, dry winter brought flowering forward to March, followed by spring rains that accumulated water reserves. Summer was hot and dry, with little rainfall, arriving only at the end of July. The soil preparation and the location, 150 meters above sea level, with constant sea breezes, allowed for slow and even ripening. The wines are elegant, rich, and complex. Harvest took place from August 28th to September 4th.
