The dial is made from material originating from a thermal protection tile of the Space Shuttle Endeavour, which was flown in space during a mission in 1992. This model was produced in 2003 in cooperation with NASA as an official “spin-off” product. Only 1,000 pieces were made worldwide, each with its own unique serial number engraved on the caseback.
