Studied under Manji Inoue, who is a Living National Treasure. Former teacher and a master of the Urasenke tea school. Her top disciple is 三輪廉浩 Miwa Yasuhiro, a popular contemporary Karatsu ware artist. Karatsu ware 唐津焼 It is a traditional craft that has been made since the 16th century, and various types are produced, starting with tea pottery. The characteristic of Karatsu ware is its rustic yet refined quality that evokes the feel of earth. It is highly valued in the tea ceremony as a representative vessel, referred to as '1 Raku, 2 Hagi, 3 Karatsu'. Very good condition. Please check pictures.
