Period: during fist half of 20TH century ( republic period)
Hand-painted, brightly glazed figurine of a wise old man with a beard, dressed in traditional robes.
Traditionally used as bonsai accessories or decorative art objects.
Small incised mark on the bottom.
Condition:
The hand and part of the basket have been restored.
The head was broken and has been glued and restored at the neck. The figure retains its splendor and rarity from that period
