Vas (2) - opalinat glas - Anrique Opaline-vaser
A refined and highly decorative pair of antique Bohemian opaline glass vases, attributed to the Harrach/Moser school and dating to the late 19th century, circa 1885–1900.
Executed in satin opaline glass, the vases are richly hand-painted with polychrome pansy bouquets and enhanced with delicate gilt scroll ornamentation of notable quality. The soft transitional shading in ivory, blush and pale blue, together with the elegant flared necks and balanced proportions, are characteristic of fine Bohemian art glass from the period.
The floral enamelling displays accomplished painterly detail associated with luxury decorative glass workshops active in Bohemia in the late Victorian era. A hand-painted decorator’s mark appears beneath one vase, consistent with workshop or painter’s marks encountered on period examples.
Offered as a matching pair — increasingly scarce on the market — these vases possess both collector appeal and strong decorative presence.
