John Page Guitars - Ashburn - - Elgitarr - Japan - 2015

John Page Classic “ The Ashburn” vintage white This is a brand new never played guitar out of the first series ever made in 2015. John Page Former head of the Fender Customshop and a true craftsman. Guitar comes with original gigbag and instruction manual-keys and trem arm The John Page Classic Ashburn was initially produced in Japan starting in 2015 as the brand's first "custom production" model, designed by former Fender Custom Shop co-founder John Page. This Japanese-made version featured an alder body, a maple neck with a 12-inch radius, and Bloodline JP-1 single-coil pickups, earning the guitar a spot in Guitar Player Magazine's Hall of Fame. In 2021, production of the Ashburn and other John Page Classic models moved from Japan to the USA, where they are now handcrafted and backed by a Lifetime Performance Guarantee. The original Japanese models remain highly regarded for their Super Strat-style ergonomics, such as the threaded machine-bolt neck assembly for superior tone transfer and reverse-slanted bridge pickups for a smoother treble response. Personal John Page explanation The Ashburn (named after my daughter, Ashley) has a double-cutaway, 13” lower bout body, and an Eastern Hard Maple neck available with multiple fretboard options that feature a 12” radius and 22 Jescar .047” x .095” Nickel Silver frets. The machine screw and threaded Brass insert neck-to-body fastening method not only gives an amazingly strong mechanical bond, but also adds a beautiful complexity to the overtones. The instrument also features my bass-justified top dots for improved playing visibility and front and back contours for playing comfort. The core model Ashburn has a vintage style 6-saddle tremolo bridge, 3 S-style single coil pickups with reversed bridge pickup angle, master volume and tone controls, and a 5-position lever switch.
