This work is about the path as an inner process, not a physical journey. It is not about reaching a goal, but about the state of long movement where a person remains alone with their thoughts.

Nature here is not a background. It becomes a space of clarification. In solitude, unnecessary layers slowly fall away. Each stage does not simply bring you closer to a result, it changes your perspective. Answers do not appear immediately; they build up over time, like layers of experience.

Today I see this painting, and the whole exhibition as an early form of my current project “Limits of Intervention.” Even here, the idea of a boundary is present — between human and environment, between action and observation, between intention and reality. The path is not about control, but about careful interaction.

Bio.
Konstantin Danilov (född 1979, Moskva) är målare och muralist baserad i Aten, Grekland. En pionjär i Rysslands graffiti-scene på 1990-talet utvecklades hans praktik mot Color Field-målning, som blandar djärva rumsliga kompositioner med psykologisk och känslomässig djup.

Han har uppträtt på större institutioner såsom Moskva Museum of Modern Art, RuArts Foundation och Burning Man x Sotheby’s (New York). Hans verk ingår i betydelsefulla samlingar, inklusive STRAAT Museum (Amsterdam), Montresso Foundation, RuArts Foundation och Sofia Trotsenko Collection.

Danilov har hållit separatutställningar på Triumph Gallery, Fineart Gallery och Reloft Art i Moskva, och har deltagit i internationella mässor såsom Urban Art Fair (Paris) och Affordable Art Fair (Amsterdam). Hans gatukonstprojekt sträcker sig över mer än 20 länder, från Hongkong till Paris och New York.

Hans arbete utforskar teman som emotionell uppfattning, ekologisk skörhet och transformation av personligheten samt samspelet mellan ens inre värld och den yttre miljön, inklusive i emigrantkontext. Med tekniker som att måla runt kanterna av duken för att spegla de dolda känslomässiga lagren som ramar vår medvetna upplevelse.
