The EE-3, introduced in 1973, added the "Flashmatic" system for automatic flash exposure when used with a compatible flash unit. This unit features a custom blue leather covering (not original — it was already customized when acquired). It gives the camera a unique, eye-catching appearance while retaining full functionality.
