The texture shows the classic "Yuzuhada" (citrus skin) effect, highly prized by tea ceremony practitioners. The bowl has a sturdy semi-cylindrical shape with a hand-carved foot (Kodai), showing a distinctive artist's mark carved into the clay. While the specific artist is unknown (no original box), the craftsmanship is of high quality, capturing the wabi-sabi aesthetic perfectly.
