The 2002 is one of the greatest Cristals ever produced — a legendary vintage of extraordinary generosity and depth. Honey, cocoa, hazelnuts, candied citrus, red fruit, white chocolate and Danish pastry on the nose; full-bodied, silky and concentrated with a chalky freshness that cuts through and stretches the wine to an almost infinite finish. The 2014 transcends what was considered a challenging vintage — expressive aromas of ripe citrus, nectarine, white flowers, freshly baked bread and honeycomb; simultaneously chiselled and generous, with racy acids and crystalline structure.
