Here for sale is a finely cast museum quality resin replica of the Head of Pharaoh Psamtik III in the form of the god Osiris by the Louvre. The original head which dates from the Saite period between 664 to 596 BC was made from Greenschist rock and is on display at the Louvre museum and it is that very same head that this replica is depicting. The bust sits atop a black marble pedestal and base which underneath has the green wax seal of the Louvre and the bust has hand applied patina. The dimensions are: H: 32 CM, W: 9.5 CM, D: 18 CM and the approximate weight is 3.5 kg. The bust is in good condition, but does show signs of age(please see photos for further information).
