A rare, well-preserved bottle of Gatto d'Argento Dry Gin from the Fratelli Pilla & C. distillery in Venice, founded in 1920, which also produced the renowned Select liqueur—the main ingredient that gave rise to the original Spritz.
Contents: 75 cl – 45% alcohol.
Bottling city: Venice, license no. 1 dated 2-2-33.
Well-preserved cage and capsule.
The metal tax stamp for spirits production is still present [1947-1949 woman's head seal].
Front and back labels are in excellent condition, though with obvious signs of age.
Bottle from a private collection, always stored in a cellar.
The photos are an integral part of the description.
