The insoles and lining are in very good, well-maintained condition.
The lining of the right shoe shows a minimal, purely cosmetic trace of burgundy shoe polish (see picture 11). To prevent any rubbing off onto socks, the area has been treated with leather cleaner as a precaution.
Heel / Sole: Top! The Alden stamp on the leather sole with the inscription "Genuine Shell Cordovan" is still easily legible!
