Goebel - Figur - Boots (The Shoemaker Boy) - TMK5 - Keramik

Goebel Hummel Boots (Little Shoemaker Boy) - German Doll Title: Boots (Little Shoemaker), first launched in 1940, is a classic occupational children's doll series, modeled after a young shoemaker apprentice in rural Germany. Brand and Origin: Made in Germany by the Goebel workshop. Original hand-painted design by Sister Hummel. The bottom label bears "Goebel W. Germany" (West Germany). It is a vintage porcelain doll from the West German period. Material and Craftsmanship: Completely handmade unglazed ceramic with hand-carved crackle glaze (a normal sign of aging in antique porcelain). All pieces are hand-painted with a soft, matte, vintage color palette. The clothing, shoes, and skin are layered and blended. Character Appearance: Curly light blonde hair, round face with pink blush, pouting playfully; wearing a white shirt, dark blue work apron, and brown trousers, the traditional attire of a European shoemaker apprentice. The bottom is marked with "Goebel W. Germany" in blue ink, indicating it was produced during the period of division between East and West Germany, 1949–1990. The fine crackles on the glaze are natural aging from decades of storage and do not constitute damage. Approximately 13cm in height.
