Produced in the early 1970s, these pieces represent one of Delon’s rare incursions into the world of interior design — a natural extension of his charismatic personality and refined aesthetic. An absolute icon of European cinema and a symbol of masculine elegance, Delon transfers into the project the same tension between strength and sensuality that characterizes his cinematic interpretations. The sofa and armchair, upholstered in the original fabric with a tone-on-tone tobacco-colored geometric pattern, stand out for their enveloping and sculptural form, almost like a wave or a shell, in which every curve is designed to merge comfort and theatricality. The fan-shaped backrest, opening like a scenic drapery, is a clear reference to the cinematic and glamorous dimension of the period, as well as to the idea of refuge intime that permeated Parisian interior design of those years. The pieces are completed by the original metal plaques “AD Alain Delon”, a sign of authenticity and belonging to a limited production.
