Rare Vintage Cadmium Eames DSW fiberglass chair The green fiberglass shell was manufactured by Herman Miller in the 1980’s. The shell is generally in good condition with natural patina. It have been used for many years in a school in the United Kingdom and therefore have significant wear on the top edge of the back as shown on the pictures. It also have a small chip on the front and a mark on the opposite side on the back. The shell have newer shock mounts in good condition. The shell is mounted on a newer original light maple wooden base made by Vitra in 2008 - the original sticker is included for documentation of originality and age. The base is in good condition and has natural signs of use especially on the end of the legs but have been carefully cleaned, so it look as good as possible. The pictures have been taken in natural day - therefore you can see reflection of light on the chair. The chair will be very carefully packed and shipped insured.
