The rectangular case is formed in polished sterling silver, raised on four ball feet and surmounted by a hinged scrolling carry handle in the traditional manner. The white enamel-style dial is signed Munsey & Co., Cambridge, a long-established Cambridge jeweller and clock retailer, and marked Made in England. It carries bold black Roman numerals, an outer minute track and slim pierced hands. The reverse opens to reveal the movement.
