Original vintage double-sided Soviet-era metal sign from the Latvian SSR. One side reads “ATPŪTAS VIETA / МЕСТО ОТДЫХА” (“Rest Area”), while the reverse warns “UZMANĪBU – ĒRCES! / ОСТОРОЖНО – КЛЕЩИ!” (“Attention – Ticks!”). The bilingual Latvian and Russian lettering, stencil-painted design and substantial weathering reflect its original outdoor use, most likely at a forest or roadside recreation area in Latvia.
