Pentax, Asahi Spotmatic SP + SMC Takumar 1,8/55mm | Analog kamera

PENTAX SPOTMATIC SP + SMC TAKUMAR 55mm f1.8, tested and working. Hello from Japan! We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world. The Asahi Pentax Spotmatic of 1964 is one of the pivotal cameras in SLR history: among the first to put a through-the-lens exposure meter into a mass-produced body, it made accurate metering effortless and sold in the millions worldwide. Its M42 screw mount became a universal standard, and the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 55mm f/1.8 fitted here is a legend in its own right — SMC coating set the industry benchmark for flare control, and this lens's smooth focus and gentle rendering keep it a favourite for adaptation to digital cameras today. A beautifully made piece of 1960s engineering that still shoots wonderfully. Important — please read carefully: There is some dust inside the lens (typically without effect on images). Please review the photos and consider this before bidding. Condition: Used — Good Pre-owned, distinct signs of use or minor optical flaws Serial Number Please check the photo. Appearance Clean appearance for its age. Please check the photos. Optical Condition Lens / Sensor: Some dust inside Functional The camera operates properly — see the measured shutter figures above. The stop-down meter responds: about -1.1 EV at EV12 and -1.5 EV at EV15 — set the film speed a step lower to compensate, or use an external meter. Measured Performance We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured: - 1 s — measured 1/1.1 s (approx. 0.1 stop fast) - 1/60 — measured 1/50 s (approx. 0.3 stop slow) - 1/1000 — measured 1/1870 s (approx. 0.9 stop fast) - Light meter accuracy — EV12: 1.1 UNDER / EV15: 1.5 UNDER Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself. Servicing This camera was serviced by us before listing: - Light seals (foam) replaced Known Issues 1. The self-timer does not work. Normal shooting is unaffected. 2. The 1/1000 speed measured fast (1/1870) — allow for about half a stop at the top speed. 3. Only some dust inside the lens; optics are otherwise clear. Bundled Items Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package. Important Notes for Used Items As this is a used item, subtle imperfections may exist that are not individually described. Shipping We ship via either FedEx or Japan Post (ePacket), whichever suits the destination and the parcel. With Japan Post your package is handed over to the local postal carrier in your country for final delivery. We only ship to registered addresses. We ship within 3 business days after payment. Customs and Taxes Parcels are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): import VAT and any customs duties are collected by customs or the carrier on delivery, in accordance with the rules of the destination country. Where import taxes have already been collected at checkout — for example under the EU IOSS scheme for orders up to EUR 150 — there is nothing further to pay on delivery. Import charges vary from country to country, so please check the rules that apply where you live. We do not under-declare item values or mark items as "gifts."
