Two attractive pieces of Aletai iron/nickel meteorite (Xinjiang province, China), octahedrite, group IIIE-an.
Each piece is a complete uncut meteorite and weighs 71 grams.
One piece has a flat and about-round shape with one natural fractured surface. The other one has an elongated shape and rugged surface. Each meteorite has areas with beautiful crystals and Widmanstätten patterns on its surface.
