The estate is located in the hilly area of Castelnuovo Berardenga, northeast of Siena. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 320 and 420 meters above sea level, with a southwest-facing exposure. The soils are highly suitable, composed of stratified quartz sandstone, with an abundant presence of alberese. These poor, rocky, and well-draining soils are ideal for the needs of Sangiovese. The cool, breezy climate allows for a slow and perfect ripening of the grapes, which are harvested in the first weeks of October.
