Vintage bordstelefon Siemens i svart bakelit – 1940-talet/1950-talet

Splendid dial phone with selector produced by Siemens (Milano), fully made in black bakelite with the characteristic shiny finish typical of the era. The piece retains all original components: handset with microphone capsule and receiver, numbered rotary dial from 0 to 9 perfectly operable to the touch, rectangular base with a cover for the telephone number label and the original textile cord.

Bakelite displays the typical gloss from time and use, with some signs of wear consistent with the piece’s age (small surface scratches and a slight defect on the edge of the dial, visible in the photos), which do not compromise its aesthetics or structural integrity. The “Siemens” Milano mark is still clearly legible on the handset.

An industrial design object that perfectly represents the functional aesthetics of Italian/European telephony from the mid-20th century: perfect as a collectible, a vintage/industrial-style furniture accessory, or as a gift for modernist enthusiasts.
