Beskrivning från säljaren
Ricoh Auto Half + Ricoh 25mm F2.8
Serial Number:
911089
Thank you very much for viewing this item.
Introduced in November 1962, the Ricoh Auto Half became one of Ricoh's best-known half-frame cameras, combining compact dimensions with a high degree of automation for its era.
It uses 35mm film in the half-frame format and is equipped with a Ricoh 25mm F2.8 lens. A selenium-based automatic exposure system and spring-powered automatic film advance were designed to make photography simple, with very little manual operation required between shots.
Its distinctive compact design and unusual mechanical self-winding system make it interesting both as a practical vintage camera and as a collectible example of early automated Japanese camera design.
■ Appearance
There are signs of use, rubbing, and age-related cosmetic wear.
The exterior shows condition consistent with a vintage camera of this age.
Please note that the light seals have deteriorated.
Please check the photographs carefully for the detailed cosmetic condition.
■ Viewfinder / Optics
There is haze inside the viewfinder.
The Ricoh 25mm F2.8 lens also shows some slight haze.
The haze in the lens is minor, and during inspection it did not appear to have a noticeable effect on photography.
Please check the photographs carefully for the detailed optical condition.

A basic sequence of operations has been checked.
The main operating functions were confirmed during inspection.

Thank you very much for taking the time to view this camera.
The Ricoh Auto Half is a distinctive early-1960s half-frame camera that combines a compact body, 25mm F2.8 lens, automatic exposure, and spring-powered film advance.
This example shows age-related exterior wear. The viewfinder has haze, while the lens has slight haze that did not appear to have a noticeable effect on photography during inspection. The light seals have deteriorated, and a basic sequence of operations has been checked.
Its unusual self-winding mechanism and characteristic compact design make it an appealing camera for collectors of classic Japanese half-frame cameras.
