Grand Victorian Ceramic Wash Basin and Pitcher Set by Mortlocks London - 19th Century
1. shallow glaze and ceramic chip on the upper dark rim (approx. 1.5 cm wide). It is purely cosmetic and does not affect the structural stability of the bowl.
2. The Water Jug: Features a tight hairline fracture or crack located at the lower joint where the handle meets the main body. The handle remains firmly attached and stable for stationary display, but due to the substantial weight of the piece, it should be handled with care when lifted.
Despite these signs of time, the set retains its breathtaking antique charm, vibrant colours, and beautiful glassy glaze. A perfect, authentic statement centerpiece for a rustic bathroom, country house interior, or a grand hallway console display.
