This elegant Japanese lacquerware flower vase is by Heian Zohiko, a historic Kyoto lacquerware house celebrated for its traditional craftsmanship. The accompanying leaflet bears the name of the ninth-generation Nishimura Hikobei.
The distinctive hexagonal body is finished in lustrous black lacquer and decorated with delicate gold-toned botanical motifs. Two slender upright supports and a gently curved handle create a graceful architectural silhouette.
A removable cylindrical flower holder is included, allowing the piece to accommodate seasonal flowers and traditional Japanese ikebana arrangements.
The striking contrast between black lacquer and golden decoration, together with its refined geometric construction, reflects the understated elegance of Kyoto's lacquerware tradition.
Ideal for tea ceremony settings, tokonoma alcoves, ikebana displays, or sophisticated Japanese interiors.
Condition: Pre-owned vintage item. Minor signs of age and handling may be present. Please refer to the photographs for details.
Included: Lacquerware vase, removable cylindrical insert, and original Zohiko leaflet.
Packaged and sent by Japan Post depends on the situation.
It takes about 3~4 weeks to receive normally. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
