Omega - Seamaster Cosmıc 2000 - Män - 1970-1979

Introduced in 1972 and produced throughout the 1970s, this model stands out with its monocoque (one-piece) case, one of Omega's technical innovations. Instead of a case back, it features an inner case extending from beneath the glass and a special gasket system, significantly increasing water resistance. This structure makes the watch water resistant to 60 meters (some versions even more). The "Cosmic" name reflects the brand's modern, space-age-themed design approach of the time.

The watch typically features the automatic Caliber 1012 or its variants. Available in both steel and gold-plated versions, the model boasts a simple yet powerful design. Today, it is highly sought after by vintage watch collectors for both its technical design and its distinctive aesthetics.
