Fine early Chinese Export hand painted blue and white porcelain mug, superbly decorated with continuous floral motifs and foliage in underglaze varying shades of blue. The form is cylindrical with a simple loop handle, typical of export porcelain wares made for the European market during the Qing Dynasty, 18th century. This mug is of the rarer small child’s size (approx. 7 cm high), which makes it highly collectible as part of export porcelain history. The rim is highlighted with a light iron-brown dressing, a feature often seen on 18th-century examples. Condition: Good antique condition considering its age. Some expected glaze imperfections and firing spots inside, minor wear and discolouration consistent with use, but no major damages or restorations visible.
