Of the Sao are known mainly their oldest terracottas. The apogee of this civilization took place during the XCII and XIII centuries although according to the C.14 from the V century B.C. the first vestiges with zoomorphic forms begin to appear, and from the X century of our Era the first figures with human anatomical forms, little modeled and with coarsely sculpted faces.
