A rare rock crystal stupa Buddhist relic from the ancient Laotian, Luang Prabang culture, second millennium AD, 15/16th century
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the very nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in 1995/Luang Prabang/Laos by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
