Group of Three Fossil Clypeaster Sea Urchins – Miocene
This impressive cluster features three fossil specimens of Clypeaster sp., a genus of sand dollars and sea biscuits known for their distinctive petaloid patterns. These specimens likely date to the Miocene period, when Clypeaster species were abundant in shallow marine environments.
The three individuals are naturally joined together, forming a single sculptural piece with excellent surface detail. The characteristic star-shaped petaloid ambulacra are well visible across the tests, along with fine surface texture typical of this genus.
A very decorative and unusual multi-specimen fossil—perfect for collectors, interior décor, or anyone fascinated by ancient marine life.
Comes with an acrylic display stand.
