2014 Palazzo Lana Riserva Extra Brut, Berlucchi: Pure Pinot Noir coming exclusively from the Diecicipò vineyards, on the hills and Brolo, overlooked by Palazzo Lana Berlucchi, Palazzo Lana Extrême is a Franciacorta Riserva produced only in the best years. The cuvée is prepared in the spring following the harvest, with exclusively 100% wines of the vintage, chosen from the best selections; the second fermentation, in contact with the yeasts, lasts for at least 9 years, at the end of which a unique product is revealed, the jewel in the crown of the Berlucchi house. Intense straw yellow colour, it has rose gold nuances and a very fine perlage. A broad nose of ripe yellow pulp fruit and candied citrus peel is the prelude to a sip of great structure; full-bodied and powerful, it is well harmonized by freshness and flavor which also characterize its very long persistence.
