Christofle – Gallia – Art Deco verzilverde ijsemmer – Frankrijk ca. 1920–1935

Prachtige verzilverde ijsemmer uit de beroemde Gallia-lijn van Christofle, Parijs. Dit elegante stuk is een schoolvoorbeeld van Franse Art Deco, met zijn strakke geometrische lijnen en verfijnde afwerking.

De Gallia-serie werd door Christofle geproduceerd als hoogwaardige lijn van verzilverd metaal en stond symbool voor de luxe en stijl van het interbellum. Deze ijsemmer is niet enkel een functioneel object, maar ook een verfijnd decoratief verzamelstuk.
