This 1990 CX Break has just passed an MOT test at 79,379 km, without any advisories or minor repair comments.  It had a full service for the inspection, and no issues were found with its mechanics, electrics or performance. The suspension system is so strong it will stay up overnight. It just needed the wheels to be refurbished, and new tyres fitted.

The paintwork has been identified by a Royal Automobile Club inspector as a high class respray, where all the glass has been removed to achieve a result that looks like new. It was probably done in Switzerland when the stainless steel roof bars were added by the coach works that added their badge to the bodywork. These great looking additions to the roof appear to be the only  non-original parts. Any scratches on it since then are very minor.

It appears to have had two or three owners in Europe, starting with one in Spain, and including the Citroen CX specialist in Germany (CX Basis), who imported it from Switzerland, according to the paperwork available. It had two other owners in the UK. It doesn't have any  classic car certification at present. 

It was registered for use on UK roads in February 2021, and found to have no accident damage. The service book shows it was serviced up to 60,000km
It was originally sold by Citroen in Spain.

At present, it is in dry storage at Lamberhurst, Kent, England.
