It is a widely cultivated variety all over the world, which, even in Piedmont, finds some particularly suitable areas. Gaja, in particular, grows it within the terroir of the Langhe, and the grapes, after harvesting, are vinified and aged for a semester in small French oak barrels. Once this maturation is over, the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed. It presents itself in the visual examination with a golden yellow colour that impresses with concentration and intensity. Fine and thin nose, dominated by notes of exotic fruit and herbaceous and vegetable sensations, typically varietal. To taste it is of excellent body, deep and harmonious, with a sip characterised by a pleasant freshness, which feeds a full and satisfying drink.
